Can we learn anything from fake Realtors?
1. Lorna Lenley. Frasier's high school crush whom whom he ran into years later. Both are divorced, and they have a one night stand. But, Frasier tells his brother that he started out the evening with the Prom Queen and ended up with Carrie. She yells. She smokes cigarettes and blows the smoke into your face. She knows her real estate, however, dresses well, would certainly not be afraid to make a cold call or ask the buyer if they would like to make an offer. Frasier and Lorna end up being friends and Frasier even tutors her son, Kirby. Later on, he realizes that he loves her, but she goes back to her husband.
2. Carol Stills (portrayed by Steve Carell's wife, Nancy Carell) is Michael's real estate agent on the Office. She has two children. Michael entertained her kids at an ice-skating rink and she was Michael's date to the casino night. In a deleted scene, it is revealed that after "Casino Night," Michael continued seeing her over the three months in between the second and third seasons. Carol rejected Michael's marriage proposal after they had been on nine dates. In "A Benihana Christmas," after Michael gave her an inappropriate Christmas card of them (which was actually a family photo with Michael's face superimposed over Carol's ex-husband) she rejects his Christmas gift of two tickets to Jamaica and breaks up with him. In a deleted scene from that episode, Carol responds to Michael's question on the phone of what he did wrong with a very long list of complaints, and when Michael asks what he did right, she hangs up on him.
3. Evelyn Harper of 2 1/2 Men fame, Charlie and Alan's mother and Jake's grandmother. In the first season she is 58 years old. She expresses a superficial fondness for her sons and grandson, but she rarely lives up to her self-perceived notion of being a devoted and misunderstood matriarch. Her sons and grandson generally return the favor and go out of their way to avoid interacting with her on most occasions. Her wide-ranging sex life is a recurring gag throughout the series. The family frequently refers to her as "the devil" (or, as Charlie put it, "unholy mother of us"), and Charlie has her number on speed-dial in his cell phone as "666."
There's many others to consider, but from my short list, I have learned the most from Lorna: It's probably not a good thing to yell all of the time, but a sense of humor and enjoying life are definite plusses.
