The Most Beautiful Place for a War: ALS Napa Trek 2012

Many of us real estate professionals have been extremely fortunate to be able to dedicate our time, energy and money to causes close to our hearts. On Saturday, September 29th, 2012, I will cycle 100 miles as a proud member of Team Zucker in the ALS TDI Napa Trek.

In 2010, I lost my mom, Fern Spinosa, to ALS.  As we speak and as we will ride, Pete Zucker wages his own battle with amytrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), also known as Lou Gehrig's disease.  ALS is a neuro-degenerative disease that attacks nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord. There is no known cause and no cure. WE ARE THE ONLY HOPE
  • Every 90 minutes someone is diagnosed with ALS.
  • Every 90 minutes ALS claims another life.
The next battle in our war is coming up.  Are you in or are you out?  We are asking for your support, "for Pete's sake."  Please visit the ALS TDI Napa Trek website for more information, or click on the image below to support our effort by joining our team and riding through the beautiful Napa valley, or by making a donation of any amount.

Rob, wish I was in the area to do the 100 miles with you...I've done several of those in the past.  My office is regularly involved with many of those "causes" and most notably the Make A Wish Foundation...maybe I can help you out by visiting the ALS website.  Good luck and kudos to you.

Rob, I am sorry to hear about your Mom, this is awesome what you are doing for the cause and in her honor. I have been a big supporter of MDA since Jerry Lewis started the Telethon, I was a bit annoyed when the got rid of him so I have not watched but still support the cause!
