This month saw 8 homes sold in Ridgefield Park compared with 4 sold in July, and is down from 11 sold in August last year.
With Summer winding down, and kids going back to school, it becomes a priority again for many to address their housing needs before the end of the year. Mortgage rate continue, as they have all summer, to be at historical lows. And although we are starting to see more buyer offers and multiple bids in Bergen County, there are still some great deals with low prices on homes to be had.
It continues to be a great time to buy, and for those sellers who couldn’t sell, it may just be the right time to consider putting their home back on the market !
Ridgefield Park’s Fourth of July Parade, first established in 1894, is said to be the longest continuously celebrated such event in New Jersey and one of the oldest in the country. Ridgefield Park schools serve all children in the village, and several bus routes provide transportation to Port Authority Bus Terminal in midtown Manhattan, as well as Jersey City.
