Tires and lawn chemicals are two items that we don't have to deal with here in Manhattan.

I always love when Realtors give out the household waste collection information as everyone always ends up with paint cans collecting in the garage or basement!

I have a whole bag of batteries - from my mouse and keyboard - that need to be recycled. Perhaps I'll send them to you Joan!  Just kidding - we have those wonderful disposal days around here too. Thanks for sharing it with Aurora residents.

Joan, it's a good thing when commmunities make it convenient for people to get rid of their hazardous household waste. These things do not belong in a landfill.

This post did work, got an Aurora resident emailing me asking if there was another event scheduled, as she missed it.   Gave her the link, but pretty sure it is only an annual event.
