Hi Joan, there are 3 kinds of dragon fruit - the flesh is white, red or yellow.

Hi Gloria, when it is ripe it is soft. Dragon fruit looks like cactus vine plant without the thorns, native to Mexico, Central & South America also planted in Southeast Asia. This picture was taken from my friend's back yard in Sarasota FL.
Wow Kwee! If it's that pretty and tastes similar to Kiwi, that's a good thing! I recently came across a Golden Kiwi, which I love. They are a little sweeter than the ordinary ones!
It tastes like a Kiwi? Okay, that makes me want to try it out.

Wow! I have never heard of dragon fruit. The tiny seeds remind me of kiwi.
