Hi Kwee, I never heard of this fruit before.  How do you know when it is ripe?  Where does it come from?  Does it grow in Florida?

Thanks for this information.

Gloria

Hi Gloria, when it is ripe it is soft. Dragon fruit looks like  cactus vine plant without the thorns, native to Mexico, Central & South America also planted in Southeast Asia. This picture was taken from my friend's back yard in Sarasota FL.

Wow Kwee!  If it's that pretty and tastes similar to Kiwi, that's a good thing!  I recently came across a Golden Kiwi, which I love.  They are a little sweeter than the ordinary ones!

Hi Kwee, what an interesting looking fruit. I also thought the plan looms like cactus. In Texas we used to get prickly pear which is similar and is also the fruit of a cactus. Thanks for sharing and enjoy your weekend!
