My brother and I have a summer rental property that rents week to week. Normally the rent is from a low of $900 per week to a high of $3000 per week. We were thinking of having the cleaning people leave a welcome basket on the kitchen table each week for them .  Since we are at the beach I figured it could be useful things for them such as some coffee, sunscreen etc.  Does anyone have ideas that they have used or heard of and what costs would you think would be appropriate?

Any ideas would be appreciated .

Thank you ,

David Green

Hi David - what a nice idea this basket of goodies is for your tenants to have when they arrive.  I love Mohamed's idea about the name labels - excellent marketing idea!  If you could get coupons from area merchants, you could include those in the baskets, too.  What about little booklets and brochures from area attractions?  And if they're magazine style, you could put little labels on those that say 'compliments of David Green' or something like that.

What a nice touch this basket will be!

I did it for buyers awhile back but stopped for who knows why. It is the little things that do make an impression.
