Seattle REALTOR Designations & Certifications: e-PRO

I got my e-PRO designation!  I have been working on it for a few months in my "spare" time and finally finished it!  I learned a ton of cool stuff for my Seattle real estate practice including some things I didn't already know!  The e-PRO from the National Association of REALTORS covers things like smart phone use, new email ideas, internet marketing, and other techie things to become a more savvy REALTOR. 

Unlike other designations, the e-PRO designation doesn't require ongoing yearly dues and most states will give you continuing education credit for it!  I paid an extra $25 and got 15 clock hours after taking it so for me it was a double whammy of good real estate education!  They have a referral system set up so that you can get $25 off the tuition for e-PRO here. ( I wish I could have found someone to refer me to get that discount - oh well:))  I think NAR is even offering a continued discount through the end of the month in their efforts to extend their designation awareness campaign. 

Let me know if you have questions about the course -  I know it will help me provid ebetter service to my clients...the parts that were new to me were eye opening, but I did have to go through rolling my eyes when it went over the introduction to blogs or smartphones since I already do those.  I think overall, though, anyone could learn something from this course from beginner to advanced techie nerd....
