You know we often take for granted the people in our lives. This is a time I would like to recognize my mother in law, Therese Kasemodel (Kasey) who is one of the reasons I decided to go into this business.
She has been in the market and very successful with Shorewest in Milwaukee, WI her whole career. She has written a wonderful book: Word Marketing and it deals with the best way to describe a home and how the architectural styles, interiors and exteriors should “paint a picture that sells.” Great book and I’m lucky that she gave me a copy. Oh but she is much more than an author.
She is the kind of Real Estate Professional that many people would want in their office. She knows the people side of business and did staging before it was called staging. She is incredible with the legal side of the business and as been the acting associate broker in her office for a few years. A wealth of knowledge, can you image? She knows more than I’ll ever learn, but a wonderful source of stories and knowledge. I only wish she was in my own state for additional reference.
But she recommended that I get into this business years ago when I was in industrial sales with GE Plastics. She said I would love it and I want to publicly thank her for her words of encouragement. Another area that is extremely helpful is her son’s support and understanding. It is hard enough to hear my difficult stories, but as often as I might be discouraged he can honestly say, “I know it can be rough, but it is worth it and I know you can do it." He also often says, "Yep, I've heard stories like this before MANY times.”
Wow, with support like that, how can I loose?
I just want to tell everyone who might read this: Therese Kasemodel is the world’s best Real Estate Professional, as far as I’m concerned!
