12 Comments on ActiveRain/DocuSign Challenge: Going Paperless, is it possible?
I did have some buyers last week that don't use a computer. So I had the paper copies ready. It was more time consuming to make all of the copies needed.
It is nice when you can use it, but not everyone will have that technology available to them.
Hi Scott - congratulations on the 500,000 points, btw!
I love Docusign, it makes my life much easier. Yes, you have to back up but consider using drop box as your primary drive, it automatically backs up so you'll never lose your data!
I guess I need to go check out this contest now. Have a fabulous day!
PS - It's a beautiful 66 degreees today!!!!!!
Debbie I have been finding similar types of clients. The paper copies come in handy and I still keep some in my car just in case. Thanks for the comment
KATHY that is what i find. I do not think I could totally use or depend on it, but when i can, it is helpful.
CATHY I have not checked out drop box so it looks like I have some learning to go to. Welcome back from your conference.
Hi Scott - While I'm not 100% paperless yet.... I'm using far less than this time two years ago or heck even last year and I like it! Saves me time, energy and money plus space.
Scott, the electronic sugnature world sure has cut down on the thousands of paper being printed. It is such a great system. I just love it.
Scott....I need to remember to try to use DocuSign too! I still am battling those who print out & sign 4 original copies!! But recently another agent I was working with used DocuSign and I thought I need to just do it and the others will follow! Oh - and I use Carbonite to automatically back up things. There's even a Carbonite app for my iPad so I can pull up things when I am on the road.
Scott,
I think DocuSign serves a purpose; however, I still like to have my hard copies for evidence in case I need it. I'm not 100% certain that things won't be available to me if I go green.
This is a great topic!
Scott, Looks like your Plan is working out well for you. We read a while back that everything will be paperless in the future. We're not there yet, but we're better than we were a couple of years ago...
Docusign has worked well for us Scott, for the buyers and sellers that have computer access.
