Living in the White mountains of New Hampshire…what is my favorite season? WINTER…is Great for skiing, Spring…is a time of renewal, Summer …brings on the long days of fun, BUT!! – FALL is the prettiest time of the year to hike – the air is cool and the mountains are colorful.
In order to entice you to visit the North Country I could talk about the Scottish Highland games coming to Loon Mountain next weekend, or the October-fest or a number of other events. But!! –I think I’ll just show you some pictures of fall foliage that I have taken around New Hampshire in years past. Here are some of my favorite places to be when the leaves change color and the trails in the woods call out to me. ENJOY!!
A beautiful time to golf... Campton NH
A beautiful time to hike: Squam Lake - Holderness NH
A beautiful time to Kayak: Pemi River- Woodstock NH
And at the end of the fall foliage season...the colors fade to white and make room for the coming winter. This beautiful shot is from my living room window, where all the seasons are pretty nice in front of the fireplace.
Since this is a real estate blog...Here is a home my in-house design build team completed for my client last fall slope side at Loon mt ski area...Now is a great time to break ground on a building project and you'll be ready for next ski season.
Why do I love it here...my heart skips a beat, when I round any corner on the Kancamagus scenic highway in Lincoln New Hampshire...this is where I live and sell real estate.
