To Stage Or Not To Stage..........You decide!
So I have never used a home staging service before, no real reason, but I suppose I had reservations about the cost and whether it was worth it.
I have this beautiful listing at 107 Sicily Drive and I have done videos, taken hundreds of pictures, even took pictures at night. It is everywhere, I have it on RealBird and it has been viewed thousands of times.I recently got the new iPad and wanted to use it for a video when I came upon a tutorial about shooting a video of a home, and immediatley I realized.....this house needed to be staged.
I contacted Barbara Heathcote with Home Staging To Sell LLC, and sent her some pictures of the home. She came out and walked through the house and immediately set to work coming up with ideas.
I let Barbara and her team in the home the next day, its a big house so they were there most of the day so I was excited to see the finished home. What a transformation, it was unbelievable, it completely changed the look and feel of the home , the rooms sprang to life, the house became a home but not someones home, anyones home, meaning Barbara did not overpower the rooms or make them look like your house or my house she skilfully arranged and added furniture to suggest and enlighten the experience of somebody looking at the home, so they could picture themselves and their furniture in there.
Barbara and her team really appreciated the craftsmanship of the home and went out of her way to take great care of it for the builder. So you have the before and after pictures, I would love to know what you think and I suspect Barbara would too.
