75 Comments on Are You Here To Comment On My Blog Or Sell Me Something?
Those comments and unsolicited emails are very annoying, especially when you already get a lot of other emails that you try numerous times to unsubscribe to.
Well put! It's very frustrating when you get solicitations in the comment section. I feel like most of them are ignored so it's not doing any benefit anyway.
Good Post!
Just a fact of internet life!
Also happens on the phone.
If I get one more political call..........
If I am calling someone to sell them something I tell them upfront. Don't try to sneak in the back door.
I can't agree more, if you want to do business send an email direct or pick up the phone and call.
Hi Jeremy, I've also had something very similar. The wording always seems awkward as if written by someone not familiar with our language. Dead giveaway !
Hi Jeremy,
I get SO many people and companies trying to pitch me ideas, services and guest posts on my outside blog, as well as emails and calls. I look at it like this: They found me, so I must be doing something right ; )
Thanks for the post, and thanks for connecting with me on Twitter!
Gina
Jeremy the vast majority of comments on my word press site is this type.
I get that when people sign up for my real Estate web site and then, not interested in RE at all, but offers to maximize my SEO. Very frustrating.
Alan,
Great blogging.
I normally just delete the junk without giving a second thought. For me it is not a time waster.
On the other hand, you are precious commodities as far as those spammers are concerned. You can feel good about that.
Spammers don't waste their time with retirees. ha ha
Curt- Really? You gonna come in to my post & spam it like that? Totally not cool.
yup, it's bat- s__t crazy day alright.
Haha. What a character!
What an Idiot!
Hehehehe - look at that. A living example of what you blogged about in #67!!
Yes, and this goes for all of the Ambit people soliciting us on AR, too.
What was #67 selling, and Michelle, what are the "ambit people" that you are referring to?
You know I get spam all the time, at least 3 to 5 a week sneak through my spam plugin. I review & delete them after the fact but never thought about using ip address as faster way to filter so thanks ...
