Thank you Tom.  I wonder if I should have posted each soldier's name but they are listed in the paper.  I appreciate your comment and you are so right, I am certain we really don't know the full impact of what our men and women are dealing with.  God Speed.

I hope your post will make people aware of our troops. Thanks to you and our local paper for thinking of our men and women and we also need to remember their loved ones back home. I can not imagine how they must feel not knowing how their family member is doing. Our Sunday School members signed and sent Christmas cards to all of the men and women whose names were in the newspaper.

Patty:  I thought The News Observer did a great job of listing the names of the troops from our area.  How wonderful that you all sent cards.  We will never know just how much that touched them and made them feel that those of us in the homeland care about them.  May God keep our troops safe and strong and they can all come home very soon.
