Look, I am an admitted fan of Summer, and would be just fine if I never saw another day below 75 for the remainder of my days, but if I was forced to pick a second favorite season then Fall would be it. A lot of people look at Labor Day as the unofficial beginning of Fall, but I don't consider it the end of Summer until I see Fifth Third Bank's Dracula pop back up at Actors Theatre.
The Louisville favorite returns again this Friday, September 14th for its 2012 run through October 31st. Now I'm not going to lie to you, I've lived here my whole life and have yet to see this production, but I'm hoping to make this year the year I change that. I've never heard anything but good reviews of it, and my fervor has been building for a few years now. After checking out their press release I even learned a few extra details that I was unaware of. They actually put on a blood drive on September 27th at the Fifth Third bank at 4th Street Live for the Red Cross, and throw a Vampire Ball on September 29th.
Hopefully I can make this the year I bite the neck...I mean bullet...and get to Actors Theatre to check out Dracula, I'm sure I'll be less than disappointed.
Or hook up with our team and lets get social with each other, either way we're not hard to find:
