We've talked about it before, but it has happened once again. Denver has hit a new high in her record for days with temperatures at or above 90 degrees.
Yesterday, the National Weather Service announced that Denver reached a temperature of 90 degrees. That marks the 73rd day this year that the temperature hit or exceeded 90 degrees.
Before this year, the record number of 90+ days was set at 61 days in 2000.
Denver's 30-year average is 33 days in the 90s.
Today we are enjoying a cool day with drizzling rain. I certainly am not complaining!
Here's to hoping that we don't have any more of the 90+ days coming!
