#51 – Chestnut Pinto Mare. Age: Smoothmouth. Height: 13.2-14 hands. Price: $275. Quiet but reserved in the pen, rode through at a walk, trot & canter. Said to be quiet & gentle with kids. Super well broke, intermediate type.
#65 – Black Pony Mare. Age: 5. Height: 12.2-13 hands. Price: $400. Quiet but a bit unsure in the pen, rode through at a walk & trot. Private seller sound last week, buyer's farrier said she had foundered, so she was returned. Said to be sound. Children/beginners should be supervised on the ground; advanced beginner type under saddle.

NOTE: ALL AVAILABLE INFO on these horses is posted. If it's not listed, we don't have it. We do our best to post all info given on each horse, in the less than 2 minutes each horse is run thru the sale-ring. It's NOT going to be a book, please remember, this is rescue. If you're not happy with the quality of the photos, you will have to wait for Sarah's photos.
Additionally, registered names are NOT made available to anyone other than the buyer of the horse. This is a policy of Camelot Auction/Sales. The rescues are NOT privy to that information.
If you are unsure about purchasing an 'unknown quantity" from the sale list, consider adopting a horse that's been pulled by a rescue. We get them in, QT them, vet them, evaluate them for training and temperament, often put training into them and the adoption contracts give you a safety net, should the horse NOT work out. Adopting from a rescue allows us space to save another and repeat the process. YES, the adoption fee is more than the pull fee, but is is LESS than what YOU would spend to get a horse out of the Pen and up to that point.***
