
Zillow gives traditionally low values for the homes in my neighborhood. The truth of the matter is all the homes east of US 1 in Ormond Beach, Florida, are located on limited property of neighborhoods bordering the Halifax River. I view this land as limited therefore desirable and always in demand. Last year zillow stated the home next to mine was valued at about $250,000. It sold for $309,000. The only reason our properties are being devalued right now is the fact that mortgage brokers sold too many people adjustable rate mortgages that were designed to ripe them off of their money then their homes. So these lenders got a triple payoff at the expence of American Citizens and Others. What is Right is Right and there are many right as rain mortgage lenders. What is Wrong is Wrong. The "Wrong Lenders" got all kinds of fees to originate loans etc., Then they were paid big interest payments when the mortgagee paid on time, then when the interest skyrocketed out of the normal realm of reason they took back the property to sell it to another.
