What Happens When You Add a Vintage Look and Frame to a New Photo ?

With the right photo and right editing tools, you can take your photography up a notch and create unique things that not only please the eye, but seem change the character completely while maintaining all of the original integrity of the Photo. 

Here is the Step by Step Process 

Open up Ribbet.com

Upload Photo

Selected from top tool bar, "Effects"

Arrow down and select "Texture" under the Artistic category

Use the left/right arrow bar to pick the 7th choice on the bottom row

Make sure the advanced mode is set to Multiply

Adjust fade bar to 48%

APPLY

Then add 2 layers of matte

APPLY

Then add the 3rd layer of matte and then the frame size and color. The frame I selected is a Grey tone.

APPLY

Save to your photo library, desktop of wherever you save photos. Done.

Hi William, my heart beats shabby chic and vintage so I just had to follow Myrl's link to your post. The effect is just amazing - I could see using it for photographs of older or historic homes, having it framed and then giving it as a gift to the seller at settlement.

Hi All,

Here is the Step by Step process that would take a total of about 5 minutes.

Open up Ribbet.com

Upload Photo
