32 Comments on It's APPLE PICKING time again and you do not have to wait until fall.
MYRL it certainly sounds fun, It sure is beautiful. Our state will soon be packed with tourists coming to "leaf peep'. i will share the brilliant colors with everyone.
If you take the time to really look at it....In and of itself...the Apple is most amazing. thank you
Monique it is nice and often taken for granted. klast year i was late and had tio climb high as most apples were picked, this year i am one of the first to enjoy a bundle of apples.
I have apple pie on my mind as I read your blog.
This is a wonderful time of the year. Be sure to post some of your favorite family recipes for apples.
Well, what do you know, this post is actually about apples. :) I wasn't sure whether it would be when I clicked on the link, maybe that's because I've been thinking about "that other" Apple this morning and reading posts on G+ about the iPhone 5.
Nice localism post Scott.
Great localism post. We're a big apple area here, too, and our are just coming on! We eat lots of apples and pears this time of year!

Hi Scott sure do miss the fall activities here in Phx. Apple picking sounds like a great idea to me....and it looks like you and your daughter had a lovely fall day together.
Scott, somehow I thought this was linked to iPhone5 release....but, hey, it's really about Apples - and about Mack's farmland!
And I love early Autumn but afraid of early winter because this year's winter in New England will not be as mild as it was last year.
Scott- I'll never forget the first time I saw an apple orchard when I visited friends in Philly. What a treat. This sounds like one of the best ways to spend some good family time.
Nice job on the post. I think we may go there this weekend. Happiness is living only a few miles from Macs :)
Making me hungry just thinking about them. I will bet they taste better than the ones waxed and stored by grocery stores, too.
Scott:
What a great experience for your daughter. I'll bet she had a great time. All that and apples. So good.
It's still a bit early to pick apples down here, the tomatoes are still ripening on the vine
I love apple picking back in NY. Bring back memories
Our apple orchards have been really hit hard with the weather here. Our numbers are seriously down for picking.
Oh the season!! I love apple picking, blueberry and peach picking. It is the best way to get together with your family on the sunny weekend.
MacIntosh apples are my favorite! Enjoy the early harvest of the apple orchards.
Sharon
So jealous! It's still summer here this week, 111 degrees when I came home. Not apple season here.
Fall is the best time of the year in New England. My family has also enjoyed an early Mac picking afternoon. Yum!
