I just received this email and I wanted to know if anyone else received and if so how do you feel about it? Is Face Book really selling our profiles?

In early November 2007, Facebook launched an advertising service that can track
the activities of Facebook users on a number of business websites.
It can then report that activity to the user's Facebook "friends".
Participating online businesses can now track the activities of Facebook users.
This way they can deliver targeted advertising to the user's Facebook "friends".
For example, if you rented a particular movie from Blockbuster.com,
now all your Facebook friends know what movie you rented... NOT COOL
According to the Federal Video Privacy Protection Act, a video tape service provider (this covers DVD's too)
who knowingly discloses, to ANY person, the personally identifiable information concerning any consumer of such a provider,
that provider is liable to the person whose information was disclosed. (THIS MEANS YOU)
The same law allows a court to award damages (MONEY) to the person whose information was revealed.
Has your privacy been compromised? If so you may be entitled to monetary damages.
I don't like this but I really don't know if it is true or some sort of spam, have you heard anything about this?
