Heading North to Alaska

 

Sacramento Airport Sunrise

I got an early start this morning, sitting in the airport as the sun was coming up. The gate was right in line with the rising sun.

Jumping up the coast, to Fairbanks Alaska for some volunteer duties.

Next stop Seattle, Washington.

Looking forward to a cooler weekend.

Hi Tom~ Nice shot of the plane.  I've been to Alaska twice, once for honeymoon and again for business.  Loved it both times and wouldn't mind going back.  This would be a good time of year.  I can't take the 24 hours of day time, or the opposite, all night time.  I like having a balance!
