17 Comments on The "Prettiest Painted Place in America" Contest, Is your town competing?
Rebecca- I had not heard of this contest. I don't know if Delray Beach is entering but I'd love to see the entrants!
Rebecca, for me on Long Island it has to be Sea Cliff, many of the victorian homes are painted the most beautiful color combinations.
Hi Rebecca, I don't think I've heard about The prettiest painted place in America and will have to check into it. Lots of places come to mind ... love the idea!
Rebecca,
That is a fun bit of information, I am looking forward to seeing the winners, and it is a great marketing idea! A
I've never heard of the contest, I'll have to check and see if we are competing.
New to me too, Rebecca, I will have to look into whether New Port Richey is doing this. Thanks for the heads up. Suggested.
Rebecca, What a nice looking photo entry for Ronceverte WV. There's nothing like quaint towns across the USA!
Rebecca, this will be a fun contest to watch for the results --- especially with lots of fun colors!
What a fun contest - and thanks for the links. I spent way too much time this morning googling some of these towns!
Rebecca I'll have to toot for those three buildings since we don't have a small town that could compete
Rebecca - Nope I have not heard about it but what a great idea. Everyone should consider doing exterior painting and sprucing up their neighborhood, especially if it needs it.
Thanks Rebecca!
Rebecca-That is a nice group of commercial buildings. Similiar but not identical. Just enough difference to be interesting.
Rebecca,
Hadn't heard about this but a great idea. Thanks. :)
Steve
This is a wonderful idea. Many communities would benefit from some fresh paint in the commercial areas.
Have a great day and an outstanding week with your camera in hand.
See if your town/neighborhood is in the competition.....
Check out the First 50 entries.
Check out the Second 50 entries.
Rebecca,
Congratulations. Your post is also featured in the group "Americana." :)
Steve
Steve, thanks for the feature in the Americana Group.
