Challenges...we all face them! Some are visible, some are not!

I believe every person faces challenges.

Some are visible like physical challenges.

Some are hidden like depression.

Or not apparent on the surface....like the loss of a loved one, a legal dispute, or a change of job.

Or all the above all at once.

But we each face our nemesis.

On a small scale, one of mine has been paperwork.

Or if I am going to be cute, all the above has manifested itself in one big white pile.

Stacks. Mounds and I do not mean Mounds Bar. I mean unfathomable paperwork.

I mean paperwork that has me in a sweat. And the temps have cooled down in Southern Maryland.

I mean paperwork that has me in a twitter. And I do not mean tweets.

I finally hoisted a white flag. I consulted a few business buds.

They said RELAX. Break it into small chunks. Do one case at a time. Do a case a day. Figure it is aok to take until the end of the month to complete Mission Impossible. Get up early. Leave the phones off until the one case is done. Reward myself in between. Take a walk or drink a special glass of tea. It is ok to let it be.

So, slowly but surely, I am plugging away on my miles of piles. And when it is all done, I will post a pretty picture of my freshly excavated dining room table.

Cheryl- A journey of a thousand miles begins one step at a time. Each day tackle a little bit of it.. One option would be to hire a high school student to work on it afternoons and weekends..

Gorgeous dogs! Love your tag line. I too have piles and piles of paperwork. I'm slowly going paperless but on some things I need to feel the paper. Breaking it in to small chunks does work. I declutter/organize for 20 mins a day. Not too little - not too much. For me just the right amount of time.  Can't wait to see a followup photo.
