Walk for the Homeless
At Leisure World Maryland

Join your neighbors for the 4th Annual Leisure World Walk for the Homeless.
Beginning at 8:30 am for warm-up and stretching in the Ballroom at Clubhouse I in Leisure World MD.
Registration at the E&R office in Leisure World Clubhouse I or at The Inter-Faith Chapel.
Registration fee is $30 which includes a “Help the Homeless” T-shirt and snacks after the walk.
Register by Thursday, Oct. 11 to make sure T-Shirts are available to wear for the walk. You may also secure donations by asking friends and family to sponsor you.
All donations are tax deductible!
Nearly 12,000 individuals are homeless in the Washington DC area. More than 40% are families and one in four is a child. The Help the Homeless Program raises funds to support organizations working to prevent and end homelessness. Since 1988, the program has raised over $90 million impacting thousands of families and children in our communities.
Last year the Leisure World MD community raised over $2,500 with over 30 walkers when they joined forces with the Fannie Mae Foundation to raise funds to prevent and end homelessness. This event is co-sponsored by the Leisure World E&R Department and the Inter-Faith Chapel.
