Sunday Reflections - The Beauty Around Us
It's Sunday and for me it's a day of rest and relaxation, something I have tried to implement this year as much as possible.
While it hasn't worked out every Sunday, I still try to get a least a few quiet hours on this day even if it's just sitting on the back patio enjoying the sunshine, the birds, the wind, or whatever comes my way.
What I like about this most is that I don't have to travel far or spend lots of money to enjoy beautiful things - there is beauty around us everywhere we look.
It's the little things in life - seeing a butterfly, hearing a bird song, smelling some sweet fragrance from nearby blossoms, or feeling the wind on ones skin and in ones hair - that engulf all our senses as long as we allow it and give it some time to get to us.
