An arch made from antlers?

I had an opportunity to get outside for a little bit this afternoon and decided to go for a walk down to Chena River and walk along the Riverwalk. The Riverwalk runs along the Chena River which curves through the city of Fairbanks, Alaska.

As I approached the river, I can across a unique arch made of antlers. Over 100 antlers were donated and mounted to create this striking feature. The antlers came from throughout the state. The arch is a popular photo opportunity for tourists like me.

I've seen similar arches in Jackson Hole....first time I had seen them and I was amazed at the engineering to get them into an arch

An arch made from antlers... I'd take a pic and show my tourist colors :)  I think there's something like this in Colorado.  I can't recall right now exactly where we were when we spotted it but yep we took a pic.

Here Tom, reminds me of Jackson Hole Wyoming in the center of town,  the elk refuge is there.

Very interesting arch Tom.  I don't think it would pass my Homeowner Association rules though.

I have heard of similar arches in other places, never seen any myself though.

Paula - My CC&R's doesn't specifically mention antler arches, but the verbiage probably covers not being able to have one in clear view.  :)
