Over the past few weeks, our nation has suffered bad weather in the east and gulf and on 9-11 we had 4 Americans killed overseas. But this morning as I looked out my window and see the beauty of this hummingbird just looking up at the sun without a care in the world, I thought we must live life for today and appreciate the beauty around us.
No matter where you live, what state, rural or urban, there is so much beauty around us. We must stop and appreciate the beauty around us and be grateful for what we have instead of always wanting more…..and love one another. Be a good colleague, friend, mother, father, etc. to others.
I know the expression is sort of corny, but remember to ‘Stop and Smell the Roses’. No matter where you are, there is beauty to make you smile and appreciate life. Thank you Mother Nature for surrounding us with beauty.
