Online Real Estate Education

By
Education & Training with Real Estate Technology School

Have you ever taken an online real estate class? Many of us find ourselves in the situation of needing another class to finish out what was needed before we can renew. We then turn to take an online class at the last minute. That works however there are more and more people who realize that they prefer taking classes online. I needed a class at the last minute in order to renew my license. I fished and fished around looking for a place to take a class. Finally I found what I needed and just signed up and took the class. I LIKED IT! I became a convert! I wanted all my classes to be online classes. I like the interaction of other people but hate to take the time out of making money to sit and chat about what someone elses experiences might have been. With online classes I can take them in the evening when I'm not likely to be interupted with customers, but if I am no big thing, I just pause the class and pick it up where I left off. I take most of my classes betwee 4 and 6 in the morning as sometimes I wake up that early and can't go back to sleep.

Arizona now prefers us to renew our licenses online at their web site. It works great! Far less time is spent renewing my license and I can get the education online and the license online very quickly!

I took my license class on line, but haven't done any of the requirements for renewing on line.  Like you, I like being able to do it in my own schedule - plus no travel involved.

Online classes are great - I too my pre-license class on line, my ethics requirement and my renewal classes. Convenient, informative and priced right.

I have taken all but 30 hours in my 13 year career online! In fact I wrote a blog about it today! I am using a new company this time and I hate them - so I am going to be suffering thru and then will never use them again - I like "inter-action" with online and this class I am taking is basically a pdf book and a few quizzes - yuk!!!

On line classes are becoming more and more popular for the reasons you cited. As real estate agents diversify and need to juggle more issues, time becomes short to run to a location for a class and sit there for 3 hours. While some really like the class interaction and environment, more and more are finding the online, at their schedule ability to be far more beneficail.

Take a look at www.desertsageseminars.com. they recently launched an on line site for Arizona real estate agents, and it is extremely user friendly.

Steven, which 'virtual' school did you attend?

Jon, I will check out DesertSageSeminars.com - thanks for the recommendation.

I do EVERYTHING online, so the classes seem like a natural alternative (the last classes I took were GRI so I did those in person). I'm sure that some schools are better than others. Any opinions on schools to attend and schools to avoid?

Thanks in advance for replies!
