Going Through A Trial? Follow The Steps That Job Used.

In Job 1:20, and 21, we see 3 aspects of worship that may help when confronted with a trial.

First, Job accepts his helplessness and recognizes that he has no claim to anything: He said, " Naked I came from my mother's womb and naked I shall return (vs. 21 KJV)

Second, Job acknowledges that God is still in total control: "The Lord gave and the Lord hath taken away" (vs 21 KJV)

Third Job concludes by reasserting his belief in the righteousness of God. "Blessed be the name of the Lord" (vs 21 KJV) Job continues to Praise God through his trails and afflictions.

If it worked for Job it might help you as well.

Ahhhh, one of my favorite stories in the Bible. If only we all could have faith like Job. He was on top of the world, had everything...then instantly it was gone. Did he question God? No. He took his lumps and focused more on the Lord.

I've read that passage of scripture at least a 100 times. When things are going bad, I thry to thank the Lord for my trials and try to remember that it could be worse.

Even when we are faced with a terminal disease....sometimes just putting it into Gods hands and doing everything we can to get healed will do the trick...instead of doing things in our own effort and strength, how ever strong we may be.....

Sometimes God wants to work outside our comfort zone...to be glorified in our lives.....because otherwise we would be tempted to get some of the glory for ourselves.....

We can do NOTHING that is truely good unless HE does it through us..... all our efforts are useless..... only He is the source of every good and perfect gift..... we are just vessels and only by letting Him live through us can we truely live.......
