1 home sold between $300,000- $400,000

There were 84  Jamestown RI homes for sale which is 1 % fewer homes on the real estate market from July 2012.  Jamestown RI home sales have increased by 1 with 6 homes sold in August 2012. 

The coastal Jamestown RI real estate still remains a desirable waterfront property location for home searches. However, this luxury Jamestown real estate market is barely selling.  With the median Jamestown home price at $637,500, this real estate market draws in the luxury home buyers to this Conanicut Island, aka…Jamestown RI.

A recap of Jamestown’s home sales in August 2012 area as follows:

So in August, the average sale price of a Jamestown home was $759,166,  sold at 97% of list price and was on the real estate market on average for 104 days.  However, home sales were down over 40% in August 2012 compared to August 2011.

Good morning, Ginny.... the high end homes are the first to fall and the last to rally.... having said that, they DO rally and then the prices soar...this is actually a good time to take advantage of that purchase if one is looking for high end...
