Let’s Welcome Dana Basiliere for Newbie Tuesdays
I first noticed Dana when he commented one of my posts last month, August 2012, but it wasn’t something that I had written in August, but rather, it was the post from January 2012, which took a look back at what I had accomplished in Active Rain in 2011.  Yes, in that post, “Looking Back at 2011 on my Active Rain Journey”, Dana had asked me a question in the comment section. “ Do You Get Direct Business from your Blog?” He had been on the fence with a Free AR Account since February 2012.

This was my response to Dana, “Hi Dana. Yes, I have received both referrals from other agents, and consumers, who have found me by way of my blog. Blogging keeps me on the Top of those search engines for many communities in my city. Plus, all the blogging is driving traffic to my website too.”  We corresponded by email, and he informed me that he was upgrading to a Rainmaker Account. I know that was a smart business decision on his part, and I know if he starts to blog with any consistency, the “business will come”.

Dana BasiliereDana Basiliere is a Coldwell Banker REALTOR® from Burlington, Vermont. Like so many of us, real estate was Dana’s second career change, and he has earned several designations along the way. Prior to real estate, he spent some 32 years with IBM, and made the transition into real estate with ease. Many of you may have seen his very first featured post in Active Rain, “Homeowner Tips by Dana--Keeping Water Out of Your Basement”.

He is off that fence, and has accumulated some 24,000 points. I expect Dana will be a big contributor to our Active Rain community, and will be a real asset to the Burlington, Vermont real estate community too. So. Let’s Welcome Dana Basiliere for Newbie Tuesdays!
