Spring, TX is located just 20 miles north of Downtown Houston.  The original town of “Spring” is now known as Old Town Spring. Spring, TX is referred to as a large portion of northern Harris County.  

With its proximity close to Downtown Houston and a few miles from The Woodlands, TX Spring can offer its residents all the amenities of the big city without feeling like you are living in the big city.

There are many nearby parks and recreation facilities for the whole family. Also is The Woodlands Mall, dining, churches and wonderful schools.  A water park called SplashTown Houston is located in Spring. The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion in The Woodlands is in proximity to Spring.

Students living in Spring CDP attend Spring Independent School District.  By 2015, Spring ISD will be recognized nationally as a leader among learning organizations and known for exemplary student achievement.
