Rebecca~ Camel rides AND fresh apple crisp? Where do I sign up? Tee hee! The 39th Clay County Golden Delicious Festival is something folks in West Virginia surely don't want to miss!
Rebecca,
This is a wonderful community event. Have a bite of pie for me!
All I know is Golden Delicious Apples live up to their name! Ahhh.... I can almost smell another hot apple pie :)
No, but I do know it is Mickey's favorite apple. The festival sounds like so much fun Rebecca.
Donna, I just love apple crisp..yummy.
Pamela, not just one bite :)
John, me too.
Roger, Mickey has good taste in apples, and an adorable son.
Rebecca,
I am looking forward to the fall apple season. Each year we buy a bushel of apples some to eat, make pies, crisps and applesauce.
For years and years I went to Apple Fest with my mother in Franklin, PA. So I know how much fun and tasty an apple festival is. Have fun!
Mary
Rebecca - I love gold delicious apples and didn't know they were "invented" in your neck of the woods. Thanks for the history!
Mary, ah yes Fall is my favorite of the seasons.-
Toni, my pleasure to give WV history.
