Car-less in Seattle

Yes it is possible to live in Seattle without a car. There are many condominiums for sale in and around downtown Seattle where you absolutely don’t need a car. There’s a wide selection of homes/condominiums for sale in the Queen Anne,Capitol HillEastlakeBelltownDowntownPioneer Square area and First Hill neighborhoods where they all have extremely high Walking-Scores and great connectivity.

The Light-Rail runs from downtown Seattle to the airport through Rainier Valley and nearby Columbia City. There are plenty of newer homes for sale along the route that make commuting to the city or airport a breeze.

We can see how this would appeal to many buyers Adrian. To be able to forget about cars and their maintenance would be great. Bet there are a lot of bikes used in downtown Seattle.

Adrian, Seattle is such a special city - car-less would be a great choice for singles, empty-nesters, and even young families desiring to take advantage of what a world class city like Seattle has to offer. I am sure you readers enjoy this information

Adrian-Does it take some getting used to-having to abide by a schedule and not just coming and going when you want? I know most of us would like to be free of vehicle expenses.

Hi Wayne, Exactly, I lived in downtown Seattle for 4 years and had a car and never used it. But of course I worked in the city.

Adrian,

You are very fortunate to live in a city that is walking friendly and has great transportation every where.  I especially like the ferry service to Bainbridge when we were working there on a project...We love your city!  A

Wonderful title and the idea appeals to me. I think it would be awesome to skip the car committment and rely on bikes, and my own two legs. So healthy and good for everyone - including the environment.
