Good morning Kathy. In my younger years, I've participated in the Sunshine State games. Always a great, fun event.
Good morning, Kathy....this is when new englanders start envying you south florida residents..... it's 42 degrees this morning....and you're preparing for beach volleyball and using sunscreen..... I'm thinking about a new wool coat....
That sounds like a fun thing... to watch. If they want to make it really extreme they should have random exploding volleyballs. Have fun!! :)

Kathy, watching volleyball is so much fun, I miss it from the Olympics! You are lucky and can enjoy this game all year long!
I grew up playing beach vball and highschool vball too (I know, in sheboygan WI right? LOL)....so much fun!
I hope you will be able to spend the day at the beach and watch the games.
Enjoy the last day of summer and be prepared to have your camera in hand to capture the colors of autumn.
Kathy...I love beach volleyball...I think most men have a new favorite sport during the Olympics...lol
Capt Wayne- I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the rain will hold off.

BarbaraT- well it's in the low 80's but overcast. Fall sure comes in quickly up there!
Jared and Amanda- now wouldn't that be funny. I'd have to have one of their balls spiked in my face!
John(QMan)-we'll be there early but not sure how long we'll stay.
Joan- that's why we're here. There are only a few days when it's cold enough for a sweater of light jacket.
Kristin- ok.. where's the beach in WI?? I played water volleyball in our first apt complex. Loved it.
Roy- will take my camera and hopefully get some good shots.
Jeffrey- oh yes... Larry watched as much of Misty May and the other women as he could.
Kathy ~ Delray Beach is such an exciting place to live! I just the beach.. and I'm sure that it will be well attended if the rain holds out.. I'll send postive vibes your way

I hope your weekend is great. It is the first day of Fall. But in south Fla, it will still be summer.

Sharon- yep, sunscreen, a beach chair, umbrella and since it's supposed to rain, that umbrella will come in handy.

Delray Beach Florida is the home of the 2012 Extreme Volleyball Profession & The Sunshine State Games and will host the games on September 22 and 23.
