Debb, I love the name Girly this and that. I see a lot of cancer awareness themes and that word needs to continue to get out.

Debb what a great event. Preventative care is so important and this makes it all fun! I volunteer for an organization here in Houston that helps women who have survived Cancer but we also have a lot of women who volunteer who have never had cancer. Preventative care and early diagnosis are the best steps to being a Survivor! Great cause and event, may have to have one here in Houston! Thanks for sharing!

I attended a First Annual Girl's Day at the Beach recently. It was a bunch of neighbors and friends. The focus was wine tasting, 31 bags and palm reading. It was done via Evite so the invitations and follow up via Evite were really neat. The food was healthy and off the charts. I like this idea, too. This adds a lot to the mix. I may suggest this concept for year two. P.S. I am hosting a Charity Walk for Ovarian.org next Saturday with some Active Rain Members making the trek here to join!
