Golf Course Property On Madeline Island Can Be A Fabulous Investment!

Take a drive down Mondamin Trail on Madeline Island, or along Fort Road near the Marina, and you'll be looking at the future of Madeline Island residential property development.

Madeline Island Golf Course Property

Our Madeline Island lake frontage is about 92% developed today.  The cost of property with Lake Superior frontage has risen to a point that places it out of reach for many buyers.  And a lakeshore buyer who has spent $200,000 or more for a lake lot has only scratched the surface.  By the time the construction process is over, that same buyer will likely have well over $500,000 invested in the property.

But tourists, summer residents and those who dream about owning a home or cottage on Madeline Island keep on coming.  For those who still dream of an affordable summer residence, interior property represents the best opportunity for many aspiring buyers to realize that dream.

Consider this.  At today's prices, it can easily cost $25,000 (or more) to drill a water well and install a qualifying holding tank sanitary system that will accommodate an Island home.  But lots along the Madeline Island Golf Course enjoy both trunk sewer access and a common water system.

Taking such costs into account, a Madeline Island golf course lot priced at $90,000 is a superb value!  The convenience (and cost saving) of city water and sewer cannot be ignored.  Add to this the advantages of proximity to the Town of La Pointe, the Madeline Island Marina, shopping and dining.

If you haven't considered property in the golf course area, you should.  Please email me and allow me to show you the many advantages of considering a golf course property on beautiful Madeline Island!

Jane, thank you.  I have seen some buyers overlook golf course property, often because they hoped they could somehow afford a lakeshore home.  They are missing out on a remarkable value by ignoring the possibilities that go along with buying and building in our golf course area.

Eric, after reading yesterday's post about the Ice Road, I'm assuming you didn't take this shot yesterday!  Your posts make Madeline Island look just magical.
