It’s official. Fall is here!

I love Autumn for so many reasons. I love Football, crisp fresh-picked apples, and of course, the fall foliage.

And since fall has always been my favorite season, I have an awful lot of photographs in my archives that are particular to the time of year.

I think that it is magical when trees are transformed into colorful, blooming flowers. The sea of green on a hillside becomes a magnificent garden of nearly every shade and hue.

My lens is dusted, and my tank is full of gas. It’s time to add to the arsenal of stock leaf images.

The next two months will be exhilarating!

I love fall too. It is my favorite season, although NOT the football part. Autumn is like the begining of the New Year (except with better weather) with that bright, happy, looking forward feeling. For some reason the light outside for taking photos is the BEST in the Fall season.

Fall knocked on my door with 35 mile an hour winds and rain. The rain we needed but it did a number on many of the trees that the color had changed.

I love your photos and your leaf collection. Here in Texas it's a hit or miss to see and experience the Autumn colors.

I think back to all the times I took this season for granted when I lived in Illinois or returned home from my summer jobs in Maine.

You really appreciate the season and it shows!

Richard- inasmuch as Fall in South Florida only means that the Snow Birds have returned or will be, then I'm relying on you and your camera to give me a feel for fall. When we lived in Leesburg, I was mesmerized by the turning of the leaves.
