I got to watch the space shuttle fly over my back yard in Land Park yesterday as I was working on a Sacramento short sale. The space shuttle Endeavor was riding atop a modified Boeing 747. All of a sudden the ground shook, a giant shadow passed over my house, and a loud noise rattled my eardrums. I dashed to my front steps in my nightgown, but I'd missed the shuttle as it headed toward and flew over the California Capitol. But wait, it came back, and this time I was standing in my bedroom gazing out the windows, talking to a Weintraub Team member on the phone. Same giant shadow, and then I spotted it, clear as a bell, with a tiny little plane next to it. It was unreal. Like some Sacramento short sales. So Sci-fy.
Especially like a Sacramento short sale counter offer. You just don't expect it and even if you know it's coming, it doesn't seem real to you. But a counter offer is exactly that, it's a counter offer. And there is a way to deal with the counter offer, depending on whether it's in writing and whether it's negotiable.
