It’s no secret that I love to list homes and market them successfully. Before becoming a Realtor in 2005, I was a computer consultant to real estate, mortgage, insurance and home building businesses in Virginia. I had to learn their businesses to run my business. So “retiring” from consulting and starting a real estate firm was a natural for me.
I’ve seen the growth of the Internet as a site developer since before we even had graphical browsers and all content was simple text. It’s hard to believe that we’ve come so far and how the Internet has literally changed our lives. We do very few tasks the same way now as we did even 10 years ago.
New technology is bringing new efficiency and new opportunity to home owners who need to sell - even when the economy is weak and the real estate market is depressed. And it couldn’t have come at a better time for the majority of home owners who have little or no equity in their homes.
