It appears that craigslist has recently added a new feature – MAPS. During the finishing stages of an ad posting, users are now presented with the option of including a map. If a user clicks on “include this map”, Craigslist automatically creates and embeds a map with the user's Ad. At realtywarp.com, we applaud Craigslist for adding this functionality to their website. Although it is a functionality that users of Realtywarp have enjoyed since our launch. It certainly shows that Craigslist is willing to innovate and improve upon their platform. Hopefully, this marks the beginning of new functionalities to come.

Based on comments above, it sounds like this new feature doesn't work with HTML which is a pain.

Christine: Thank you for the comment. The new Map feature works with HTML. The only issue with it is that most platforms such as Realtywarp.com and Postlets already comes with its own map embedded in the html. That said, if you were to include a Craigslist map you will have two maps appear on your listing. Another issue with the new map is that there is no way to opt out of it. In other words, everytime you post a Craigslist Ad you will be prompted with the option to include a MAP.

I love that I don't need to re-size my photos and can add more photos to my listings when I put them on craislist. I agree with Donna. We tend to keep our property listings general without maps to not limit our audience.
