By
Real Estate Agent with Aubrey and Associates Realty

Today, I have been doing some playing around with my photos.  I have concluded that I must be in a Sepia Phase.  I hope that someone other than myself enjoys them.

Tony - I love using sepia - it really changes the tone of a photo. You also did a great job with getting the color just right. I see too much yellow when people use sepia. A photo should only have a touch of it, but not turn it gold....at least that's my opinion for what it's worth, lol.

Hi Tony, I don't know much about Sepia or any of the other technical aspects of photo manipulation, but I do like your photos.  You have a knack for making the most simple things look very nice and artistic.

Thanks for sharing this with us.

YES! HA. ME TOO Tony! I do not have Photoshop but I bought Lightroom since the price came way down. All week I have been working to learn it and been experimenting with the different sepia tones that one can create. Your landscape really lends itself to sepia and black and white since the light and rocky terrain really stand out compared to our soft green rolling hills. This photo looks great. Ditto Bob's thoughts.

Tony, using sepia or b/w emphasizes the subject of the photo in my opinion. Color is beautiful but sometimes we get overwhelmed by it.

Tony,

That is a wonderful shot and the sepia tone does well with it. :)

Kristine, Thank you!  I will admit that I really didn't do much to it, it is pretty much the default setting for the sepia.  I did play with the contrast, but not much with the coloring of the sepia.

Bob, Thank you, that is high praise!

Roy, I probably need to spend some time on the mountain!

Steve, I just have been using the free software.

Silvia, This is true, but for certain subjects it really makes them "pop".

Steve, Thank You!

Hi Tony and Darcy,

Very cool picture and the sepia finish makes it look spectacular and like Silvia said, a good use of your imagination too. Thanks for sharing it.
