Get the family together and get ready to have some FUN!
The Hawes Farms will be featuring a day-time Hoe-Down and a night-time Hoe-Down on opening day September 29th at the farm located at 21923 Dersh Road in Anderson (crossroads of Dersh and Deschutes).
This family fun all day event begins with the daytime hoedown from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. featuring pony rides, watermelon eating contest, sack racing, three legged race, water balloon toss, shooting and bow n arrow contest, zip line, cannons, hay bale pyramid, hay bale maze, barnyard jump, volleyball, cornball, pig races and prizes. There are two trains, the Cow Train and the new Grain Train, available to rides on around the property.
Then finish the day with the nighttime hoedown dance featuring “The Billies”, a country, blues, classic rock band that begins at 8 p.m. with dance gates opening at 6 p.m. till midnight.
A No Host Cold Beer and Wine is available at the “Watering Hole”.
Cost for all day admission is $12.50 including the dance, Seniors 65+ $10.00, and children under 3 are FREE. Admission for ONLY the dance is $5.
