With just over a 5 month supply at current absorption rate, the luxury home market is balanced but leaning toward a buyers market.

 

72 Single Family Residences priced from $1,000,000 to $2,000,000 are currently for sale in Palos Verdes with 47 in escrow. At current absorption rate homes in the price point are in a strong sellers market too with under a two-month supply of inventory at current absorption rate.

It is the same up here.  The luxury market is still favoring buyers whereas the more affordable ones are low on inventory and awaiting those illusive sellers.
