Those grasshoppers are a sure sign that Fall is here. As you say, they bring along a whole different set of challenges, especially to crops and landscaping. You gotta love them though. I love to watch a child discover them while they are hopping along like super bugs!
My two boys came across one of these the other day and thought it was so cool that they had one in their backyard and not just in their textbooks at school.

Many of the more annoying ones are going away. Nice weather lately!!!
Another fall item we see here in Minnesota is the array of bugs. Some are very willing to pose.
The cool nights and warm days have brought the bugs out in full force.
A few of these is ok, but some times they can do a lot of damage!
