I had no idea that there was a neighbourhood in Atlanta called Cabbagetown. There's one in Toronto, and I always thought it was a rather strange name for a place, i wouldn't have thought there was another. A good number of Canada's best boxers have come from Cabbagetown.

I didn't realize that either! Our Cabbagetown is just a tiny, quirky neighborhood but I love it!  From everything I've heard or read, they named it Cabbagetown because all of the residents worked at the factory all day and in order to have dinner ready when they came home at night, they boiled cabbage all day -- and the streets were always filled with the smell!
