Moon In The Day Time

Seeing the moon is not unusual, but seeing the Moon In The Day Time is, at least for me it is.  I can't remember the last time I saw the moon if full day light, but that is what has happened the last couple of days.

I don't know if it has just been happening in my little corner of Connecticut, but I would be surprised if it is just Connecticut.  The picture above came out pretty good, but it does not do it justice.

If you have also been seeing a Moon In The Day Time where you are, I hope you leave a comment and include where you live.

I haven't seen it, but then again, I haven't looked lol :)!  I do believe I have seen this before though...I think it may have something to do with the equinox or some such thing...something to research though :).

That's a pretty cool photo. I should have looked for it, although the timing would have been a bit different here - I was too busy running around. Must be the time of year.

George you really took a nice shot.   When I see the moon in the day it often looks faded.

I love seeing the moon in the day.  I think it's cool.  If I recall correctly, the cycle is 23 hrs which means that it shifts by an hour each day.  We just notice it more at night due to the color contrast. (oh and this is why high and low tides shift by an hour each day, too).

Hey George, that's a great photo. I did a post last year of a moon I saw during the day, but yours is much brighter.
