So what is happening with the Edgewater marketplace? Foreclosures and short sales are holding steady with very little increase in available inventory. Edgewater sales are remaining steady. Buyers asked for closing assistance in 14 of the 31 sales in August. On average Edgewater homes are selling for 92.46% of their asking price. Months of inventory rose just a tad from 4.8 months to 5 months. Edgewater enjoyed a 17% increase in sales year over year!!
