ActiveRain is addicting once you get started on it. It is a place where you can share your opinion, add ideas and challenge folks too. The public uses it, we as agents use it and it is marking who we are and what we believe for years to come. What goes on the internet stays on the internet!
Are You Sharing the Joys of ActiveRain? The last three days I have been in class to get the GREEN designation through the National Association of Realtors. Part of the discussion in the workbook brought up the topic of blogging and how we agents need to get the word out about being GREEN through our blogs.
This gave me a wonderful opportunity to share the joys of ActiveRain. All the other agents were from other companies and the instructor was from out of state. I told them how through blogging, they can get their opinions out, disseminate information, feature their listings and read and learn a whole lot about all kinds of real estate topics and more. Then I told them them could all join free and see what it was all about.

Guess what? Everyone in the room but one (she is already on ActiveRain) said they were interested and wanted to be a part including the NAR instructor. So I gathered their business cards and my iPad and sent invites to join ActiveRain to each one of them. I also told them to check their spam because sometimes the invitations are filtered out. Already one of my classmates has joined the network. I am not afraid to have them in the community. The more interaction the better.
Are You Sharing the Joys of ActiveRain, too? It’s so easy because it’s free and nobody wants to feel left out. Who doesn’t like free? But you have to tell them about it or they may never find out.
