I was spending a quiet evening at home watching television when a commercial came on telling folks to join ChristianMingle.com and if they would join, then God would actually help match them up with a partner. Can you believe that? God is now in the "dating business," as if He doesn't have enough to do!
I majored in marketing when I was in college, but commercials like this are " beyond good taste" as far as I am concerned. Perhaps we should tell folks that If they use us as their Realtor, God will partner with us so we can find just the perfect home for them?
I thought our Political Ads we're tacky, but these companies who USE the name of God to sell their products, are really ( you can fill in the blank here).
I just hope the day doesn't come when we, as Realtors, don't stoop this low to get our messages across to prospective clients.
What are your thoughts on this?
